Fritz was first called to the Bar as an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Ceylon in 1962. He practised there extensively in the civil and criminal courts and tribunals.
He was appointed Jusitice of the Peace and part-time Magistrate and Crown Advocate for the Judicial Zone of Kurunegala. Fritz has also served as an Industrial Court Arbitrator. He is an expert on Sri Lankan Law.
Called to the Bar of England and Wales from Lincoln’s Inn in 1993 Fritz now practices crime, common law, judicial review, immigration, personal injuries, family and employment.
He is also a non-practising solicitor and an expert in Sri Lankan Law and a member of FLBA, ILPA, Human Rights Lawyers Association, Commonwealth in England Barristers Association, and Association of Sri Lankan Lawyers in UK.
He was trial observer in the Privy Council for Amnesty International in the Pratt & Morgan case.
Fritz is a Barrister Mediator in the areas of Employment, Family, Personal Injury, Property and Public Law and a member of SCMA.
