Hilda is an experienced civil and commercial barrister. Her practice covers all aspects of children work, financial remedies, setting aside consent orders, national and international relocations, and complex private law disputes She is regularly instructed on behalf of parents, local authorities and children.
Hilda also has specific interest and specialism in equality, race, disability and discrimination cases in the field of Employment law. She also specialises in complex Commercial law cases. She is usually instructed on behalf of State governments, companies and individuals in representation/defence actions including but not limited to breach of contracts, conflict of law, enforcement of arbitral awards and judgments.
Hilda’s key strengths include eagle-eyed forensic insight, skillful analysis, healthy appetite for thorough research, result-oriented focus, determined refusal to give up even on the weakest of cases, strong advocacy techniques, firm and confident negotiation skills, as well as dedication to client care. With a First Class Honours degree and Masters in Corporate & Commercial Law from Queen Mary & Westfield College, University of London, Hilda was called to the Bar in 1989. She is a Member of Lincoln’s Inn, and the Family Law Bar Association.
