Good afternoon all! Today we would to introduce to you one of our barristers who has a lot experience regarding construction law – Mr Anthony Philpott.
Anthony Philpott is registered as a Direct Public Access Barrister and he is authorised to conduct litigation in all courts. A civil practitioner, he has also practised in the criminal courts as defence Counsel, that included an acquittal at the Old Bailey. Anthony is dual qualified as a solicitor (non- practising) and a barrister (practising).
He uses the skills of a solicitor in advising clients directly in suitable cases and of a barrister in representing clients in court. He was in house Legal Counsel with Bovis Lend Lease Limited a multi-national project management and construction company for eleven years.
He holds a BA Hons Law Degree and the MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration from King’s College University of London and he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has the MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration from King’s College London and he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Outside of his work in construction litigation – Mr Philpott’s hobbies include listening to music, going to the cinema, reading literature, and he also supports Reading FC
